Holly Akers
Holly is the Co-Owner & Director of Operations at Tartan K9. As the primary point of contact for clients, she manages everything from bookings and boarding to daily operations and customer care. Holly is passionate about providing a safe, structured, small scale, and positive experience for every dog that stays with Tartan K9 and takes pride in building lasting relationships with both clients and their pets.
Co-Owner & Head Trainer
Jerome Akers
Jerome is the Co-Owner & Head Trainer at Tartan K9. With over nine years of dog training experience, he specializes in helping dogs and their owners build clear communication, confidence, and lasting obedience. Jerome works with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, focusing on practical, real-world training that creates reliable results both at home and in everyday situations. His calm, balanced approach and dedication to each dog's success are at the heart of Tartan K9's training programs.
Boarding & Training Assistant
Nolan Empringham
Nolan is a Boarding & Training Assistant at Tartan K9. With a strong passion for working with dogs and a commitment to continuous learning, he plays an active role in both our boarding and training programs. As he continues to develop his skills as a trainer, Nolan has taken on a leading role in supporting our training programs and helping dogs build confidence, structure, and good habits. His dedication, patience, and enthusiasm make him a valued member of the Tartan K9 team.
